Entry 4-

Sometimes I start to do this thing where I “think panic”.

I’m sure you’ve done it a million times too, but for me, it’s really when I think about my future and how easy it is to do a 180 and change my life completely.

I always say to myself, I know I’m going to be okay, and I say that because I feel it in my gut that I know I’ll figure out what I was put on this earth to do.

Yet, It’s almost like that feeling is buried under all these layers of learning patience, knowledge, maturity, all these exhausting valuable life lessons one has to learn to break through to slowly get their answers.

Which could be a really great thing, right?

If I got my perfect ideal scenario today I would become so bored. No more room for failure, no more room for any more successes.

That’s what people in my generation including myself forget.

It’s not completely our fault though. We grew up on getting things instantly, mostly from social media. Instant likes, instant feedback, yet when you look at this idea of life, nothing comes instantly, the majority of it comes in time.

Yeah, yeah you already knew that, of course, but we tend to forget.

Personally, with my little practice of living in the now, it has helped me focus my thoughts from 10 years from now to my day to day life. It is so much less stressful and feels way more rewarding.

Disclaimer: of course I still think about where I want to be in 5-10 years, it’s important. But you can’t perfectly plan something that far, little obstacles are going to come your way, some good, some bad, and you have to be ready for it.

Spend today doing something that makes you happy, that’s all you can do.

Welcome to my blog! I am a 21 year old college student who was forced to write a personal story back when I was in a communications class. Little did I know I would fall in love with the idea of being able to share my travel adventures, hacks and my personal experiences. That is how this all started. I have big plans, and no plan at the same time. So, stick around :)
